About GIC
GIC for Project Management was established as a technical arm of German Industry and Commerce Ltd. (GIC – Founded 2003) with the primary goal of managing large-scale projects. This division focuses on providing comprehensive engineering, mechanical, and electrical maintenance services. By leveraging the expertise of its partners in various contracting fields, GIC is able to offer a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of its clients. This collaborative approach ensures that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. .

Meet Our Board
Eng. Mahmoud Mohamed Ahmed
Eng. Mahmoud Mohamed Ahmed is the Chairman and Board Member of several leading construction and Industrial companies. In addition to that, Eng. Mahmoud is the Chairman of the Society for Technical Education and Training Forum fort which has recruited and trained more than 40,000 technical assistants. Throughout a career that started in 1971, Eng. Mahmoud Mohamed has moved from site and planning engineer to occupy the position of Vice- Chairman of the Arab Contractors from 1998 till 2002 and Chairman of the Arab Contractors in Mena Region and African countries such as Uganda, Nigeria, Kuwait, Ghana and Rwanda. Engineer Mahmoud has also been the Chairman of leading construction company ABB from 1997 till 2003. In 2007, he co-founded Degla for project management which is currently the project management of New Giza. From 2003 until now he occupies the position of Chairman and CEO of German Industry and Commerce Company which works closely with the German Chamber of commerce in networking between German and Egyptian companies. He currently is Chairman of GIC for Project Management, a facility management company. Eng. Mahmoud graduated from Cairo University where he received a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering additionally, he earned a Diploma in Soil Mechanics. He is also Member of the Businessmen Association, American Chamber and Board of Trustees at the Faculty of Engineering in 6th of October University. Mr. Mahmoud is the chairman of EJC contracting company, Future Clean Energy, a solar energy company and the chairman of Bavaria for facility management. He is also a member of Board of Cémento Ready Mix, an Egyptian company specialized in ready concrete.

Eng. Osama Abu Sheasha
Eng. Osama Abu Sheasha is a co-founder and Managing Director of GIC for Project Management, Eng. Osama graduated from the faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University in 1985 with a major in civil engineering. After graduation he started his career by working in various contracting companies as a member of the construction team and then he continued building experience as a construction manager in various contracting companies. Following his entrepreneurial dream he started his own contracting company (El Dawlia Contracting Company – DCC) in 1989. Eng. Osama’s technical experience along with his own business acumen was the key factor behind of the success of DCC. According to the Egyptian Federation for Constructions and Building Contractors, DCC became one of the first-class contracting companies in Egypt and also contributes in major construction projects including industrial, banks, hospitals and real estate. DCC is now a renowned contracting company with a strong belief in. Eng. Osama is also the Chairman of PRICON for Contracting and a Board Member of Cémento Ready Mix.
